MIKAELI BENTON

Tutor

Mikaeli’s great love of drama began as an amateur actor at the age of 8. Her passion didn’t abate in high school and she went on to win awards for Outstanding Achievments in drama and performance. Throughout this period Mikaeli attended Mad Cow drama classes where she was a standout performer in Much Ado About Nothing. Her passion made it easy for her to pursue drama at university where she completed a BA in Performing Arts. Her attention to detail and depth of honesty was honed as a film critic. When Mad Cow learned Mikaeli had moved back to the Central Coast there was no hesitation to employ her as a tutor.

Mikaeli’s joy at returning to Mad Cow as a tutor is underpinned by her belief Mad Cow has always been an inclusive environment, safe for children to explore their imagination, and to examine a different world where they are encouraged to challenge themselves whilst having fun.

Mikaeli has a broad range of theatrical and film knowledge from stage management and lighting to costume design and make-up. Her diverse skills have been honed devising performances and creating short films with a variety of culturally diverse communities in Surry Hills for several years.
